DONOR PROGRAM

In May 2009 we launched our first donor program in our 25-year history. It was a risky move and involved a significant degree of commitment. But it has paid off: the donations we secured meant that many 2010 Next Wave Festival projects had adequate development resources and were fully realised. Some of these projects include: Bennett Miller’s Dachshunds U.N.; Soda_Jerk’s After the Rainbow; The Sister Hayes’ A Good Death; and Ashley Dyer’s And Then Something Fell On My Head.

Next Wave held a series of donor functions in 2009 and 2010 at various venues across Melbourne, and held countless meetings with potential donors and interest groups.

Donations to Next Wave helps pay for logistical costs, venue and materials hire, artists’ fees, amongst other valuable things, and we thank everyone who made donations over the last two years.
